Edward Accent Chair.

What started out as just another furniture design and build project quickly turned to something much more meaningful in the spring of 2019. My grandfather was an active woodworker who began to pass down his skill and craft to me when I was just 11 years old. I have spent countless hours next to him in his shop learning cutting, sanding, and finishing techniques. Just a few months before he passed away, he and I spent three hours in his shop and I sat with him as he passed down countless tools to me.

All of the finishing work on this piece was completed with his tools - which I now use to carry on his legacy. The Edward Accent Chair was designed and built in honor of my late grandfather Edward C. Czapek.
